                     Toms chithra Katha was published by Toms Publication from kottayam.
 As The logo of the Comics shows The chief Editor is Toms (V.T.Thomas) of the
 Boban and Molly fame.The Logo itself shows the legendary Siblings Boban and 
Molly who brought such happiness with thier antics and satire.These satirical 
Cartoons appeared in the Malayala Manorama Weekly from 1957. But these comic
 issues were completely different and  mainly told stories of Puranas,myths and
 Heroes.Most of the great cover art was by  N.G.Suresh Kumar. Here are some issues
starting with #2 and some others under number 10.

               During the eighties many Publications issued great Malayalam comics, STR, 
Poombatta,Poonthopu,Regal and VM were some of These. Not very surprisngly many
were Published from kottayam, Head quarters of  malayalam publishing Industry. But 
STR chithra Katha was published from Cochin in the early 1990s by Sri.R.Ramesh at
S.T.Reddiar & Sons Ernakulam. More than 150 titles was published by them.

                  Published by Times of india, this series started in 1986. Spiderman, Denis the menace, Arak and Modesty Blaise Graced the stories in the lovely issues. Smaller than a  normal comic, these comics are highly collectible today. Here are some issues in my collection including #1 featuring modesty Blaise........
