Poombatta Magazine.....

Poombatta Magazine started in the late seventies and ended by 1989. This Childrens Magazine Published by PaiCo was vastly popular and featured not only popular Amra Chitra Katha stories, but also  Kapish, Henry and the ever popular Inspector Garud in comic strips. Here I am showcasing some comic strips featuring the popular character Kapish.......

    Poombatta was started in 1964, not late 70s. As a boy in the 60s, I was a regular reader of Poombatta.

    If anyone could help me, please. There was a comic called Inspector Gulugulu. I've read two old copies of it when I was a kid. It was very slapstick in nature, obviouly about the funny adventures of one Inspector Gulugulu. I think Poombatta published it. I just can't find anybody who has read one of those. It'd be really great to see someone who has read it and even better to know if I can still find a copy of the book sonewhere.

    Yes its Inspector Gulugulmaal published in the 1990s by Manorajyam poompatta.I have also read 2 parts of the same as i can remember.Second one was released in 1994.not Sure how many books were released in total .Picturisation was done by Shabi Karuvatta.

      Ah yes thank you so much! I just loved that comic. The slapstick comedy was just ridiculously good. Please let me know of any information as to where I can find a copy.
