Prem Nasir.....

Malayalam films has been adorned by so many great actors and Super stars. but Sri Prem Nasir holds a special place in the Malayalam movie Industry. Fondly called "Nithya haritha Nayakan" or evergreen hero, he played the college student when he was past fifty. He holds many world records including most film as the Hero:720 films. Playing against the same heroine:130 films with Sheela, For acting against 90 heroines Etc. But his popularity rested not only on his stardom but also his gentle behavior and philanthropy.

       These issues of the English Steel claws was very popular in the early 1970s. These are actually translated from tamil. The thrilling adventures of Louis Crandell who becme invisible after a Lab accident makes up for the thrilling read in those times....

I came across this Ad in a 1974 Chitrarama Film magazine in my Collection. It mentions some of the Finest Mayavi Chitra Katha namely "Sarpa Dweep", "Manjukatta Rahasyam", and also the initial thriller "Irumbu kai Mayavi". If anyone has the malayalam version Would like to get the same by sale or exchange.....

Poombatta Magazine.....

Poombatta Magazine started in the late seventies and ended by 1989. This Childrens Magazine Published by PaiCo was vastly popular and featured not only popular Amra Chitra Katha stories, but also  Kapish, Henry and the ever popular Inspector Garud in comic strips. Here I am showcasing some comic strips featuring the popular character Kapish.......
